Sad Dads Have It Bad: A Look at Paternal Postpartum Depression: This paper examines paternal PPD as an underrecognized health communication problem and analyzes the barriers that prevent new fathers from receiving adequate support. Drawing on current research, I identify gaps in provider–father communication and propose a theory‑informed intervention designed to improve screening, dialogue, and access to resources.
